Dialup Networking Setup for ImpulseNet
Configuration to connect to
ImpulseNet:
NOTE: The dial-up network and TCP/IP must be installed before a
connection can be
made!!!
>>> Click or (Double click)
on <My Computer> which is on the
Windows 95/98/NT desktop
>>> Click or (Double click)
on Dial-up networking
>>> From this point forward if Single
clicks don't work use
Double
clicks to open windows (just makin' sure your
payin' attention
! OK...lets go on and get you connected !
>>> Click on <Make a New Connection>
>>> Type in <ImpulseNet> and enter your local access
number
NOTE: Make
sure the dialup number use choose is a local phone call
from your location or TOLL charges may or will apply
>>> Click on <OK> or <Finish> (depending your Win
version)
>>> Click on ImpulseNet with the right mouse
button
>>> Select properties from
the drop down list
>>> Click on the <Server Type>
Tab at the top of the window
>>> Copy this screen and click TCP/IP
settings
>>>Copy these settings, and
click OK
at each window.
Congratulations! You have successfully set up
Dialup Networking for
ImpulseNET. Right Click on the ImpulseNet
Dialup Icon in Dialup Networking and select <Create Shortcut> to
place a Dialup Icon on your Desktop. That's it !!! Your ready to
connect to ImpulseNet.

Enter your user ID as
follows: biiyouruserid@yournetwork.net
NOTE: Be sure
to use the full realm name as typed above

Enter your Password: <only you know that>

Click save password (optional if you
don't want to type it every time)

Click on connect...your modem will dial out and
perform various functions to connect to ImpulseNet...after your
connected you can launch your Internet Browser and YOUR OFF "surfin'
the web".
